The following steps describe how to uninstall Office products on a PC (laptop, desktop, or 2-in-1). For Mac, see Uninstall Role for Mac.

Tip:Uninstalling Officesimply removes the Office applications from your calculator, information technology doesn't remove any files, documents, or workbooks you lot created using the apps.

Uninstall Office for your installation blazon

The steps to uninstall Role depend on the type of installation you have. The most common installation types are Click-to-Run and Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI). The other type is an Function installation from the Microsoft Store app.

If you have a Click-to-Run or an MSI installation, uninstall Office using the Command Panel or download the uninstall support tool.

1. Open the Control Panel.

   Border (older)

   • At the bottom of the browser window, select Run to launch the SetupProd_OffScrub.exe.

     

   Firefox

   • In the pop-up window, select Save Fileand then from the upper-correct browser window, select the downloads arrow > SetupProd_OffScrub.exe.

     

3. From the Uninstall Part products window, select the version of Part you want to uninstall, and then select Adjacent.

4. Follow the prompts on the remaining screens and when prompted, restart your calculator.

   Afterwards you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to consummate the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.

5. If you want to reinstall Role, select the steps for the version you desire and follow those steps. Shut the uninstall tool.
